7. Mainstreaming

Mainstreaming doesn’t work. I agree fully, our “politically correct” society about catering to “special needs” has swung the pendulum too far. I’ve read countless posts on Reddit and Quora posts from parents who are frustrated because their kids are stuck in classes with a disruptive “special needs” student who disrupts the class and monopolizes the staffs time.

I’m all for helping people reach their potential. But not at the expense of the 99% of students trying to learn.
