5. Today the laws treat students with severe mental and behavior issues the same as

harmless students with cerebral palsy or Down syndrome. The law orders that they be educated in regular classrooms unless it’s proven impossible or someone gets severely injured and force school systems to mainstream these children. It sometimes seems like the kids with violent tendencies have more rights than the students and teachers that they endanger. School districts are not equipped to provide service to possibly dangerous mentally ill children.
