Mail ballots can be mailed in or hand-delivered to a Supervisor of Elections office. Starting on October 19, mail ballots that have been voted, sealed, and signed can also be delivered to drop boxes at early voting sites. Mail ballots can not be used to vote at a regular polling place on election day. On election day, an unvoted mail ballot can be traded in for an in-person ballot at your polling place (precinct). All returns up to this point are mail ballots- whether mailed or hand-delivered.
