to draft a statement explaining why the school should not open. Ask parents to sign a petition, or send around a letter to parents asking if they feel it's safe to send their kids to school. If enough parents feel it's too dangerous, or flat-out state they will not be sending their kids to school, then that school should remain closed. If parents are OK with it opening, then open it and, to quote our mighty leader, "we'll see what happens."
