that their behavior is so obnoxious to others. One wishes their parents had raised them better, but I'm going to guess that most of the parents would be horrified to discover their sons ever behaved like this.

But yes, they do reflect very badly on all Americans, and you can't blame if people decided all Americans are total jerks based on the few.

A part of me wants to say, Oh why didn't you say something to them? But I know perfectly well why you didn't. It just wouldn't have been worth the grief they'd have given you.

One of the things I've long admired about Mexicans is their inclination to think well of others, and their constant patience with me when I struggle with my limited Spanish.
