I received my mail-in ballot on Monday. I used this when filling out my ballot Monday night.

Tuesday, I dropped it in the drop box about a mile from home (no traffic, to speak of!).

Wednesday, I got a text from the Los Angeles County Registrar of Voters: "Your ballot has been received and counted."

Hooray!!!
