people have been pulled weekly if not daily to patchwork cover things. My student was out last week, so I was popped into a multitude of classes. I don't mind as I don't have my own class to also manage, but if I was teaching full time I would be freaked out. Teachers need their prep time and breaks! Trouble is, we can't force Joe Q Public to sign up as a sub, and someone has to be with these kids.
