I lived in the azores as a kid and it was so memorable and seems like it is still so.
Your images are stunning.
Did you travel there and spend time to photograph? Was it recently?
I dream of going back there one day.(azores)
When I was there it was quite medieval with more cattle carts than cars; Salazar was the dictator and he had an iron fist on the country and censored the news and communications.
It was a bucolic and placid life for the islanders. But that was so long ago.
I never forgot it; I hope the country and the islands remain intact with the landscape and cuisine earthy and undisturbed from outside influences.
