I am loathe to admit I used my PHONE! I zoomed on that second one. I had two actual camera lenses with me, an 18-300 mm on the camera and my wide-angle. I had not been expecting elk, we were at a low level semi-near the visitor center, and my camera was on the floor behind my seat since I thought I would not need it any more. We were behind a car for the close one and the first, and other cars were coming up behind us, possibly preferring not to be too delayed while we took pictures. So I defaulted to the phone that was right next to me. I know, shameful! We were at the front of the line for the one crossing the road. That one proceeded to walk toward us and pass right by the passenger window. It was so wonderful.

ETA--And oddly, the only processing I did was cropping and straightening.
