On top of it all I got an eye exam and was told my eyes are actually in good shape for my age and my vision has not decreased by much at all since the last exam of that type five years ago so I really have no issues except the effect of that which resembles a squished gnat on my glasses lens.

Patience, I'll have to remain stocked up on that stuff!
