10. We had a blood red sun this morning (Eugene, OR)

Big fire to the east. Mandatory evacuations. 102F yesterday, 100 right now. It was predicted to be 105 today but I think the smoke is blocking some of the sun’s radiation. Car had a coating of fine ash.
