8. So I asked a friend of mine how many guitars he owned.

He thought for a while and said "somewhere between 102 and 104." He actually makes his living as a drummer with a national act, but he is also a wonderfully creative guitarist. My own addiction is old acoustics and I spend a lot of time working on them in my declining years. The talk about Bozos brought back memories of Leo opening his case in the studio and smiling at his guitar. The reason I stay away from Asian acoustics is that many used epoxy as a neck joint and the necks can't be reset. The two electrics I own and will probably die with are a Harmony H52 and an early 60's Rocket. With guitars, it doesn't make any difference where they are made-it's the sound. I kept a cheap asian built guitar in the garage for casual party use and all of the guitar players loved it. I simply gave it a good set up and a new bone nut and saddle. Carpal tunnel and arthritis have taken it's toll on my hands, so I don't play out, but I still love to play and ever time I say no more guitars I know I'm lying.
