4. They're Not Hard To Use, But...

...I leaned that there's a trick.
Mine was passive, so no amp. You plugged the output of the amp into it, then ran from the box to the speaker in the amp. Step on the switch, talkbox/no amp. Step on it again, amp/no talkbox.
But, the signal in club situations is kind of low.
So, I bought a Scholz Powersoak, which attenuates the output.
I put that between the box on the speaker. That made the amp output higher to the talkbox but still not too loud for the primary sound.
The louder the talkbox, the easier it is to use.
I bought the powersoak just for tone reasons, but got the added benefit of making the TB easier to play with.
Someone stole my talkbox & I never replaced it.
