Although I've never tried these ideas, and I as well have several beautiful unused cloths, they would be beautiful as curtains or drapes; also I thought of using one or two as the top of a duvet cover, or as a lining for a special quilt, or perhaps the top of a quilt with the stitching following some of the damask pattern. Also, if you sew clothing, they could be turned into beautiful evening wear, would look better with lining.

I inherited several old cloths that are partially ragged; I had thought to use those as smaller craft projects - evening bags, using other fabric combined with; cut up into quilt pieces and used with other fabrics and/or different patterned damask to create quilt; as the background for fabric collage/art; making those large beautiful fabric flowers (directions can be found in various places) which in turn could be used as accessories on clothing or as jewelry. Pillow covers, pillow-cases. Place-mats, table runners......
