5. Selling on eBay was my main job in the early 2000's and not only did I make quite a bit of money, but it was fun.

Then the mega-sellers started moving in. It was slow at first, then suddenly the individual sellers with interesting, quirky, genuinely rare stuff were put on the back bench. At the same time, postage rates began to climb and eventually it was too much of a hassle to deal with it. I went back to a brick-and-mortar antique shop.
