8. just a funny story-

so, i went to the school of the art institute. i was a clay major.
took a history of ceramics class. they had a different lecturer for each class.

one week it was a curator from the museum.
i got to embarrass that person TWICE.
1st was that they had no idea why ppl used 'paste china'. or rly, what it was. i gave her a little lesson in clay bodies and the economics of cone 6 v cone 10.

but the rly stupid thing was that she brought drawings from wedgwood.
one was a teapot. it had a line drawn to indicate the angle of the spout. she was so impressed at the aesthetics of that decision.
me- um, that's to make sure it pours properly.

sometimes i think the more time you spend in a classroom, the dumber you get.
