2. I recently did the same thing to my garage. Albums and books are both heavy to try to sell them...

locally or you'll spend all the profit shipping them.Try local record stores as vinly is back in favor—classic rock sells best country, R&B, blues and jazz next. I just did this with local record store here in Vegas and the owner came and went thru the lot and we struck a deal. Don't expect but a buck or two per album. He was not at all interested in classical. He said it doesn't sell.

LP and CD boxed sets go quickly.

Local used book stores are a good bet, although they are picky as to what they'll take and they don't pay much unless they are rare, first editions, but at least you'll get them out of your storage space.
