2. How to explain socialism to liberals though?

DU is a liberal website people think roads are socialism. What to do?

I don't want to discourage people from thinking about the ideas. But it's not clear how to get people to engage with much bigger ideas than they usually care about. Like how to get people to think about the possibility of a completely different way to organize society around principals of democracy and meeting human needs, instead of for private profit. Tricky.
