The DU Lounge

I dated her child 35!years ago and we always got along as if we were best friends -- dancing and singing together like fools, shopping together, etc. We'd lost contact for *years* --;as in decades -- until her child is dated found me because Tina was so fond of me. With all that distance in time, it was as if we'd last spoken last night because it was so easy and familiar.

I'd never told her before what was so obvious -- that I loved her -- and she said she loved me too and always had. It was incredibly cathartic because ...issues with my mother. Anyhow, she is, and has always v3en throughout the years we never spoke, incredibly important to my life and making me the person I am. Just thinking of it makes me emotional.
