12. My fob has a hidden key in it.

I bought a 2026 Honda CR-v Sport Touring Hybrid two weeks ago. The fobs unlock the doors and if, for some reason, the fobs don't work I can press a button in the fobs and a key pulls out and opens the doors. If the fob battery is dead, all I have to do is hold the fob next to the Start Button. The Start Button will read the chip and start the car.

My previous car, a 2007 CR-v, had a fob that wouldn't work even with a new battery so I took it to a locksmith franchise (Busy Bees) and they cloned it with an identical Honda fob for $130.
