And the Chief and 1st class watch officer were chain smokers up in there.
We had an E3 OS that always left his cigs out or lost them. We would find the Pack, roll out the tobacco in one, and fill it with pencil shavings. He has a long nose. Mean, yea, but we were sailers at sea for a month at a time, no females, lots of farts and sometimes bored. We hated second hand smoke.
We could not pack the cigs of the Chief or the 1st class PO. So Eddie from the Bronx took the hit.
Smooth seas to ya brother.
