"The Oscars are run by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS), a professional honorary organization of over 11,000 film industry artists and leaders. The organization is led by CEO Bill Kramer and President Lynette Howell Taylor, with a Board of Governors responsible for strategic direction."

All he has to do is strongarm Eric and his caterwallerin' wife onto the Board of Governors. With Lara's deep musical connections it should be a no brainer. ...so to speak.
