The DU Lounge

I was home on leave visiting my parents and my sister lived next door to them. I was walking around the town and saw the cable company storefront and I came up with an idea. I went in and asked if I could run a message on their community channel on our birthday. I wrote out the following:

"Please call XXXX at XXXX and wish her a happy 40th birthday from her younger twin."

The lady at the cable read it and cracked up laughing and said she knew my sister and said they'd run it. A couple days later, my mom, sister, and I went somewhere and we returned home about 10 pm. My sister went into her house and my mom and I went into her house. About 10 minutes later my sister is calls me and sarcastically thanking me. I say for what and she said for the notice on the cable channel. The cable company ran it a couple days earlier but her husband said a couple people call and wished her a happy birthday.

It's still the second best joke I've ever played on anyone.
