I posted a "Thank you for the hearts" thread when I had like, I dunno, 3 hearts...but you folks are something else. [View all]

I've had "time-in's" and "time-out's" on DU. When Trump was "re-elected," I came back, and I stayed.

I've been around for a while..."since Oct 16, 2013."

And one thing I have always respected about DU is that there's no ambiguity on "what it takes to be an American."

I have three "rules" in life.

1). You CANNOT HURT the people I love

2). You CANNOT hurt me

3). And...most importantly...you can NEVER HURT yourself.

That's my "non-negotiable auto-pilot."

So if those three bullet points are OK with you, you ARE my FRIEND, and you ARE in my POSSE:

1). REGARDLESS of the color of your skin
2). REGARDLESS of your gender
3). REGARDLESS of your chosen faith
4). REGARDLESS of your sexual orientation

You just have to be a kind, courageous and cool human being, and DU HAS A SURPLIS OF THEM.

THANK YOU for allowing me to be a part of this amazing community.
