I like cozy mysteries (Mercy Carr and her malinois Elvis mystery in A Borrowing of Bones; Hamish MacBeth mystery in Death of an Outsider), Regency romances (Mary Balogh's Survivors' Club series is good), and ancient epics (wading thru The Mahabharata now).
