is moving very rapidly outward from the center of the "big bang", regardless of other bodies.

As galaxies are in rotation, some of the bodies are moving outward faster than others at any moment. But in the long run, the consensus is that everything will just continue expanding outward. So if we want to visit other galaxies, we'd better do it soon.
