Thursday

When we cleaned out closets in my grandmother's house in the 1970s, I found a stash of whisky that had been put away since the 1950s. She let me have them, even though I didn't drink much hard liquor back then. I saved it, and when she died, I drank the whole bottle while I wrote her obituary. Most booze ever, before and since.
