After getting the Shingrix shots, the flareups are not as severe, but they are still really painful. My sister had a really bad case of shingles years ago; it lasted nearly a month!

Some of the Covid vaccines have triggered shingles reactions for me for several days. Annoying but worth it for the Covid protection.
