(24,658 posts)63. I've been to all 50 states including 2 Hawaiian Islands, 4 Canadian Provinces, Australia, and parts of Europe
and frankly there is beauty everywhere.
I drove a truck up from Phoenix to Fairbanks back in October of 2019 and the Yukon was spectacular.
Near Kluane Lake on the Alcan HWY;
Fog below and overcast above.
We drove on a thousand miles of roads that looked like this;
I was in Anchorage in 2022 and went down the Turnagain Arm. This was taken from the top of the Gondola at the Alyeska Resort. The sun spilling onto the waters despite the clouds trying their best

Two beautiful places come to mind: Plitvice Lakes National Park in Croatia and Lake Bled in Slovenia.

Never been to Hawaii. But my late FIL was stationed there and my husband lived there for some time. He loved it.
