(19,650 posts)23. My first experience with chemo was terrifying
This is the second day I was out of the hospital and I was hitting the ground running! Nothing was going to stop me! I wanted to live!
I had an anaphylactic reaction to my chemo (twice in the same day to to different ones!) but came back the next day to try different flavors and keep on fighting.
I earned much respect from my infusion staff that day.
