https://www.mlb.com/news/mlb-mvp-award-winners-2024This is the second season in baseball history that both MVPs were elected unanimously, and Ohtani is the second player in baseball history - Frank Robinson is the first - to win MVP in both leagues.
Someone pointed out during the season that in the long history of Major League Baseball, only one player has strung together this setup: a 10-RBI game, a six-hit game, a five-extra-base-hits game, a three-home-run game and a two-stolen-base game. Ohtani did it in the same game.
