3. I don't mind if they want to keep going

Yesterday

Swalwell is done, he’s gone. He did what any politician should do when faced with credible allegations of sexual misconduct — he resigned. The justice system will ultimately determine his guilt or innocence, but his political career is over.

So if Republicans want to wave him around like some kind of “gotcha,” it seems to me that all they’re doing is reminding people of the way the system SHOULD work, and drawing attention to that fact that many politicians on their side, up to and including the Secretary of Defense (sorry, “War”) and the President, have faced similar allegations and are still in their jobs, when maybe they shouldn’t be.
