It's just a piece of jewelry. All he wants is the medal. He's so superficial he thinks that's all he needs. He'll put it with all his other "trophies" and think they are real. You know all those gulf trophies he gives himself at his club every year. He doesn't really win them but he still shows then off and brags about them like they are real. He's just a pretender.
