8. The real question is how was this allowed to happen?

Ignorance and apathy run higher and higher among Americans as each succeeding generation succumbs to the dumbing down of education and the mind numbing effects of social media.

We've got some outstanding writers and journalists out there. I read The Atlantic, Mother Jones, and Salon every month, every word. But the problem is that most Americans won't pick up print media anymore, and the time it takes to read, and process the point being made, is more than most people are willing to invest.

Then there's some real trash out there.

Who authorized, and allowed, the destruction of the East Wing and why hasn't anyone done anything about it? That isn't anywhere within the scope of Presidential power, and it can't be blamed on the fact that Democrats aren't in the majority. If this is where accountability has landed, then 1] Why haven't Democrats taken advantage of the lack of it and set things up to prevent Trump from getting back in, and 2] Who's really in charge and where is the backup?
