We actually had it within the grasp of our power to prevent this from happening, when Democrats controlled the White House and Congress right after Biden was elected. And there are still plenty of us out here who were frustrated to no end by the attitude of "business as usual" and "we don't want this to look political" used as excuses for avoiding the kind of risky, bold action it would have taken to get Trump to prison for his crimes. The excuses still flow forth, in spite of the fact that if we had done things like Trump is doing now, this would not be happening because he'd be in prison.

Don't tell me Democrats were focused on the narrative. If they'd done that, there would be a Democrat in the White House right now.
