Every Tuesday my Dad took me to the Hall of Justice in my city for the meetings. I met a lot of police officers but the one thing that stood out was the men were kind of a holey and one of instructors left the program because he had beat up his wife and it was in the newspaper! He was nice enough towards me but used to say women should be home. The guys in the program were kind of jerky and I never went out with any of them. I wanted to drop being in the program but my Dad said it would look in my resume when I looked for a job. He was so correct. Almost every job I applied for in my college years when they saw that on my resume hired me!
