building this facility close to an airport. Last summer, ICE rounded up a bunch of Honduran kids, and because ICE had no facility nearby, they had the kids stand out on the airport's tarmac for hours. That was enough time for immigration lawyers to wake a judge, and get him to order a halt to the flights. This new facility would avoid that risk, and enable agents to whisk kids straight to the flights.
