Certainly the population will see a major reduction event in the near future. Also, the climate as we know will be substantially altered. However, life will adapt or die. Humans will persist in a drastically different ecosystem and social structure. The past several centuries have been climatological ‘golden years’. Now we’re paying the price of our continued ignorance. And the most ignorant faction is now in power.
