Trump seems to be just reacting to Iran’s power play over the Middle East.

Trump is trying to play catch up with his own claim that U S is guardian angel of the Middle East and will charge passage fees. N

Iran’s proposal might be one that can bring a new alignment and reduce the role of the US.
