But the opposite would surely be the case when Pentagon people come to him saying "Mr. President, we only have 53 XYZ missiles in the area, and we can't fly our planes into the bases where half those missiles are staged. We have 700 more in supply in the US, but it will take us 3 weeks to get them into position. And it will take us 10 years to rebuild that supply to the 1500 we expect to have available at all times."

I have no special access to information about specific weapons and their numbers. But I am familiar with some of the ships in theater. They can't store unlimited amounts of weapons. I feel very strongly that Trump finds himself in a position of having to stall and bluff because we shot off so many weapons and don't have a rapid supply chain available. All these countries that have ruled out their bases makes this a really difficult logistics problem. And none of the NATO countries are going to give us any of their supplies because they don't want this war in the first place.

This really hasn't gotten enough attention. It isn't just about TACO Don. He is forced to bluff because this was such a stupid military operation for the git. And let's not forget that the Drunk Secretary has fired any commanders who raise any of these questions.
