The age of computers has truly done a number on some people. They are truly delusional thanks to years of doing nothing but sitting at a desk and using the computer to try and be something that they are not. Then, after enough time of being isolated and unsociable for years, they get forced into the real world once they hit adulthood (in most cases anyway) and have zero social skills and ability to handle the fact that the world does not turn around them.

Delusion is the American norm these days, it seems.
