... that Trump offered him a substantial financial reward if he switched parties. It's possible that he has retained just enough common sense to know that Trump never rewards anyone; he dangles a carrot, and then stiffs 'em. Hagrid can also do more damage on the inside than he can on on the outside, but I seriously doubt he'll get a second term. That kind of betrayal is never forgotten... or forgiven.
