This is a strange time in neuroscience. And “left” or right with human errors documented by the net being subverted to justify more rot, it should be remembered that evolution perfects over long time scales, enlightenment values have lead to industrialized life becoming less hellish (voting rights act, roe v wase..I have barely any brain cells left for my field and for energy beyond common sense and the point is that a more enlightened version of the stuff that was all kicked out because it was bad is lame..I am not mocking anyone so much as avoiding thought terminating cliches).

Why would anyone teach young people to think like this? Those splashy kids will now inherit the earth. I was lucky in finding a decent woman at least, married to the typical, low quality, decent, elite male.
But you cannot do away with real elites.

Its guys like Alex Pentland and Sebastian Thrun who should be chucked out. Where there is wailing and gnashing of teeth. Those are two genuinely mediocre douchebags. They are not elite. They are daft.
