ALL those women are standing on a riser (some on the THIRD step !) for the camera to get a good view of them. Only Trmp -- who HAS to look taller than all the other men in the room -- is standing on the lowest riser to add a few inches to his apparent height, and the other men are still towering over the women. You could put the women's team on two riser steps with the men behind them and it would be much better composed.
(TO BE FAIR: Who knows what the photographer did or did not suggest before Trmp bigfooted the decision and the photog, fearing the knout, complied ?)
There are some famous cases of old Hollywood actors who would stand on boxes to be more comparable in height to their co-stars, especially women, or the taller actor would literally stand in a trench to appear shorter. There is a Monty Python skit ( "Scott of the Antarctic" ) in which the bozo director has the actress in a trench and the actor standing on boxes, towering over her.. It might have influenced the setup of this photo.
