Yesterday

Trump blundered badly in starting this unnecessary war. The NYT has an article today about Iran's new leadership, with the gist being that the hardline leaders of the Revolutionary Guard are making the decisions, and they have every reason to hate Trump and the US. Sending an incompetent like Vance to negotiate is foolish because, like Trump, he is a known liar who cannot be trusted. Have all the experienced diplomats with knowledge of Iran been fired so Trump has to rely on diplomatic neophytes?
