for those who used to buy/use those tea sets - you had the real ones (with markings) -
the silver plate ones (usually plated on copper) -
and then the intentionally mislabeled-as-"silver" or "silver plate" ones that were basically stainless steel (never tarnishes!!!!!) sold as a "silver tea set" for like $25 (mostly imported from China) -
