This is the ONE area where I agree with most libertarians. Otherwise, I think Libertarians suck. They're stuck in their teenage boy years. But, I do think if one wants a hit of acid, or a joint, one should be able to buy it at a *reasonable* price... dispensary prices are SO high for those states who are lucky enough to even have laws where buying is legal. Note... I'm biased. I live in a such a backwards state where pot is still illegal, so that probably colors my thinking.

Also, I suffer from debilitating pain from autoimmune disease and yes, I can get pain meds... as long as I report to my PCP every 3 months. That means paying for a doc visit every 3 months, and driving 45 miles to get to her, which at my age is NOT getting any easier to do in my dilapidated car, especially at these gas prices. On top of that, I'm soon going to have to have someone to drive me because my eyesight is getting bad enough to be fearful of driving. So, I either do all that or live my life in bed in pain. Yes... I think my life experiences probably color my opinions.
