Some are associated with James Madison University. I have no idea what the others are associated with. There is an Ethiopian Orthodox Church in Dayton, VA, just down the road.

I had an interesting encounter with the Ethiopian Orthodox several years ago when I visited the ROCOR church. At that time, they were both located in the lower level of a building on Harrisonburg's south end in two different auditoriums. I opened the door to one and immediately saw I was in the wrong place when I saw a number of dark faces and people all dressed in white. One lady looked at me curiously and then asked, "You look for Russia? Next door." It still makes me smile when I think about it.
