(44,986 posts)17. I am spoiled by voting in Delaware. They sent me a voter registration card telling me where to vote.
I show up at the poll and hand that to the woman watching the election book. And she lets me go in the booth and vote. I never show ID. Ive been voting the same place for years. We never had a voting integrity question until Trump. as far as the draft, my brother had student deferments until they did the lottery and then he got a high number so we were very lucky there. He also had a medical deferment for an operation. It was the poor kids that went.

Draft Registration doesn't make you eligible to be drafted into military service. It instead includes your name among

Do they still use draft cards ? I would think getting one of those in the mail would raise a lot of questions ....

So they won't automatically register eligible people to vote, but they'll automatically register them for the draft
