Yesterday

My only real problem with the draft or compulsory service (military or otherwise) has been that I question its fairness when implemented. Flame away, it's just my opinion. The whole "some animals are more equal than others" often creeps in. Everyone has someone they'll miss, plans to do this or that, objections to conforming, etc... but it's the subjective weights given to various classes that usually seem to be what sours all this.
